How can I find a job in Grand Cayman?
I would recommend that you start with the local news papers, Cayman Compass, Cayman News Service, and Cayman Net News. This is an excellent way to see the types of jobs available on the island and the types of companies that are looking for people.

I also recommend looking through ECayTrade for job listings. It is not likely to have professional jobs, but you may get lucky. My husband found his job by using a paid website Jobs in the Sun. Although you have to pay to use the website, you may find that it's more effective.

What types of jobs are available in the Cayman Islands?
Almost any job you can think of is available here. Since this is a financial center, most jobs are related to the financial industry. There are many accounting and bookkeeping jobs advertised. However, until recently, Cayman was experiencing a housing boom. As a result, there were very many construction jobs available here. With the global recession, housing has slowed down considerably, and there are significantly fewer construction jobs now.

There are also many "support" jobs available. For example, jobs that support a household like nanny, gardener, etc. are always in demand. In addition, jobs that support an office like IT administrator, secretary, etc. are still sought after here on the island.
