Cruise to the Caribbean: Sea Days

This Cruise to the Caribbean page is part three of a four part series about the best Caribbean cruise to Grand Cayman. Western Caribbean Cruises generally start with sea days and will usually have one or two more sea days before returning home. In contrast, eastern Caribbean cruises have fewer sea days because the islands on the ports of call are closer together. Therefore, you may find a western cruise more restful or you many prefer the more frequent island hopping of the eastern cruise. This is the list of all of the topics in this series:

Usually breakfast and lunch are casual. This means you can show up an any time (during the scheduled meal times) and sit wherever you'd like. Dress is also casual (i.e. shorts). This is also a chance to meet some new people. Just choose a table and enjoy yourself.

You'll find that the pool is busiest place on a Caribbean cruise. I remember it as also the loudest. Screaming kids and teenagers were the norm at the pool. They definitely looked as if they were having fun!

Sea days on your Caribbean cruise holiday will usually have formal dinners. This is a nice time to dress up and enjoy good food and great service. My sister and I had our pictures taken after dinner, and I'm glad we did that. That picture ended up being a wonderful keepsake.

After dinner, your cruise to Grand Cayman island, may have a show or karaoke. You can take a walk on deck and enjoy the night air, or you can go dancing in one of the night clubs. There's so much to do on days at sea.
